Zimulator Refill

All sounds © R. Lawes 2003.

Feedback: E-mail Zimulator!
The new Refill from The Zimulator is here! Following on from the last one, it contains a huge amount of files stuffed into a small space (aprox. 600 files !!! into 6.4 Mb).

Substractor Patches

There are approximately 200 new Subtractor patches. Everything from Leads to Pads, Basses to Subs! Once again showing that the Subtractor is an awesome synth capable of some really hot sounds!

NN19 Patches

Also, approximately 150 NN-19 patches made from a couple of old synths and more!

Casio SA-20 Sound set:

Made from multi-samples of the better sounds from this cheap 80's PCM synth and then freshened right up with the NN-19! The NN-19 is capable of creating some really cool variations on a sound using the filter and the LFO, so each sound has between 10 and 20 variations on it.

First Synth Sounds:

Made from samples of the 'Jazz Organ' patch from this cheap cheap CHEAP analogue synth from the 80's it actually packs a nice synthetic punch.

Phone Tone patches:

Using a sample made from the dial tone on the UK phone system, this sample set provides you with 27 fresh warm sounds. Great as a pad or a lead, this sound is unique and timeless!

ReDrum Patches

Beatbox Drum Sets:

A collection of 112 beatbox sounds generated by the mouth of The Zimulator! Every type of percussion sound you can imagine, plus scratches, FX, the works. Comes with 4 .drp files to start with, but there are many more sounds in the set to work with. All sounds are 100% un-processed, and the only effect in the sounds is some distortion from overloading the mic. All sounds have been normalised for maximum impact.

Casio SA-20 Drum Sets:

There's a set of sounds straight from the synth, then a set of filtered and processed drums made from the original samples. Each comes with a .drp file, but there are many extra sounds in the set as well.

First Synth Drum Set:

Next is a drum set made from the First synth. Hi-fi Lo-fi! Really crisp analogue drum sounds, some processed and made into a 10-sound set with a .drp to match.

Toy Drum Set:

Also, the 'Toy Drum' set. This is a cheap childrens toy drum sampled and made into a .drp sound set.

Rubiks Cube Percussion Set:

Finally, the Rubiks Cube percussion set... The REAL sound of the 80's! This set of sounds is very different and features samples made from two Rubiks Cubes swivelling, clicking, being slapped together and generally abused. Recorded through an AKG C1000 and normalised for maximum impact. The kick sounds have been made using parts of the samples put through an FM synthesis process but the rest of the sounds are un-processed. Enjoy!
